Plum Čačanska rana

Plum fruit seedlings of the “Čačanska rana” variety were created at the Institute of Fruit Growing in Čačak. It ripens at the end of the first and the beginning of the second half of July. The fruit is medium-sized, ovoid, purple-blue. The flesh is yellow, firm, juicy, sweet, very tasty. It is sensitive to late spring frosts. The stone is large and easily separated from the meat. It tolerates transport well. The Čačak wound is a wound and native plum, of large and quality fruits. It achieves a relatively high price on the market. In the last few years, a lot has been planted in new orchards.
