Apple Idared
Idared is an American variety (Idaho red) created in 1935 and to this day it is the most popular apple in Serbia, because of its large and beautiful fruit, good taste, but also because it can stand for a long time without spoiling. In Serbia, 67% of the area is under that variety of apples. The flesh of this variety is firm, whitish, juicy and tartaric. It ripens at the end of September and the beginning of October. Good pollination is achieved by the varieties Richard, Granny Smith, Melrose, Chadel, Cox, Orange and Golden Delicious. We recommend rootstocks M9 and MM-106.
